Accessing the Collections Window
The Basic Steps
The default keybind to bring up the Collections interface is Shift + P. Simply pressing these two keys simultaneously will open the main window. This is the most common and efficient method, but if you find that keybinding isn’t working or if you prefer an alternative way, don’t worry.
You can also access the Collections window through the in-game menus. Look for the little button that looks like a book, and select that. Heirlooms: When creating new characters or helping friends level up quickly, this section is invaluable. Heirlooms are powerful pieces of gear that scale with your character’s level, offering experience bonuses. They provide a boost that helps players level efficiently through a chosen spec. From this menu, you can equip and see details regarding what they provide.
Appearances: The Appearances tab, sometimes referred to as “Transmog,” is where you can customize the look of your gear. This is a favorite among players, as it lets you transform your armor and weapons to match a particular style or aesthetic.
Toys: The Toys tab houses a collection of fun and often whimsical items that can be used for various purposes. Toys range from items that provide temporary buffs or effects to purely cosmetic items. Search and Filtering Options

You can use the search bar, located at the top of the window, to enter the name of the item. The search function is incredibly useful when you have a large collection, or when you’re trying to locate a specific item.
Filtering is also an essential part of navigating your collections. You can filter your items based on their source. For example, you can choose to view only items obtained from a specific raid, achievement, vendor, or quest. You can also filter by category.
The Item Details Window
When you click on an individual item within a collection, the details window appears. Here, you will find information about the item.
This details window offers information about how to obtain the item if you have not already acquired it.
This window will tell you whether the item is account-wide or character specific. Account-wide means you can use it on any character on your account.
Utilizing Your Collections
Mounts
To summon a mount, simply select it in the Mounts tab and click the “Summon” button, or right-click the mount icon. Mounts provide a variety of travel speeds and types, from land-based steeds to flying dragons, depending on the zone and your level. Mounts make traversing the world a faster and more efficient experience.
Pets
Summoning a pet is as simple as selecting it in the Pets tab and clicking the “Summon” button. Pets serve as companions throughout your journey, and some can even be used in pet battles.
Heirlooms

Toys
